CAPS-Unit 10 California State Scientists Petition

The following petition arrived at our inbox a few days ago.  In the last two days the signatories have jumped from 10% of the bargaining unit to 25%.:

PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL UNIT 10 SCIENTISTS

Dear Unit 10 CA State Scientist,

We at the California Department of Health in Richmond are calling out to all State of California Unit 10 Scientists to join us in a movement for salary raises and promotional opportunities before the upcomingJanuary 17 negotiations.  Thus, we have compiled this letter in the form of an on-line petition platform in order to garner the support and reach the many Unit 10 State Scientists distributed in laboratories and field offices throughout California.  We hope to send this letter to CalHR, CAPS, Department heads and the Governor to encourage more progress at the negation table before the state budget is ratified.  If you support the ideals in this letter/petition we strongly encourage you to sign it AND to forward it to other Unit 10 Scientist colleagues throughout the state. We will send this petition with signatures to the above groups on January 15^th.
